HOTEL POLICIES

NO SMOKING POLICY

Hotel Formosa Daet is a non-smoking hotel and 100% smoke-free. Pursuant to Presidential Executive Order No. 26-2017, smoking is not allowed in guest rooms and all public areas of the hotel, including the hotel lobby, breakfast nook, kitchen, hallways, stairs, restrooms, and  function rooms. There will be a cleaning fee of PHP10,000.00 charged per incidence of smoking. Guests who wish to smoke may do so outside the hotel premises.

 

ROOM OCCUPANCY POLICY

The total number of occupants in a room, including children aged 12 and above, shall not exceed the maximum number of occupants permitted for the respective room types:


Standard Room:                                       up to 1 person

Deluxe Room:                                           up to 2 persons

Deluxe Suite:                                            up to 2 persons

Superior Room:                                        up to 2 persons

Superior Suite:                                         up to 2 persons  

Family Suite:                                            up to 3 persons

Family Room:                                           up to 3-4 persons

 

A Php500.00 charge for each additional person staying in the rooms will be applied at time of check-in.

 

If you have any questions/clarifications on our room occupancy policy, our hotel staff would be happy to explain in detail.

 

Please note that Hotel Formosa reserves the right to refuse entry to any additional guest exceeding the maximum occupancy.

 

CHILDREN

The Hotel allows a child up to 11 years of age to stay for free using the existing bedding. Individuals above the age of 12 are considered as adults by the Hotel. Please note that children staying for free are not entitled to a free breakfast. 

 

EXTRA BEDDING

For Deluxe Suite, Superior Room, Superior Suite, and Family Rooms 101 and 102, an extra bed for an additional occupant is allowed and is chargeable at Php500.00 per night excluding breakfast. Extra bed is strictly not allowed in the Standard Room, Deluxe Rooms, and Family Suites. Requests for extra bed are subject to availability and must be confirmed with the management.

AMENITIES 

Complimentary bottled waters and dental kits are given as welcome kits per stay, which means they won't be replenished everyday. Shampoos, conditioners, soaps, and towels may be replenished upon request. 

 

As a small boutique hotel, we always reserve a room specifically for each guest. Therefore, we are greatly impacted by cancellations. Please note the information indicated below.

GUARANTEE POLICY

To secure the reservation, the Hotel requires a 50% deposit through bank transfer. Guests may also choose to settle the full payment via bank transfer or online booking. Once the reservation has been confirmed, the deposit/full payment is non-refundable and non-transferrable.

 

For any changes regarding the reservation, kindly contact the Hotel at least 3 days before the arrival date. Modifications in bookings are not guaranteed and remains at the sole discretion of the hotel management. Please note that once payment has been made, only the dates can be modified and a refund won't be issued as the rooms are already considered sold. 

 

Booking modifications/cancellations made beyond the grace period and especially on the arrival date are strictly not allowed. In such case, guests will have to pay for the original booking in full.

 

NO-SHOW POLICY

In case of a no-show or an early check out, no refunds will be made.

 

Confirmed bookings are non-transferable. In case of a no-show or early check out, guests cannot avail the existing booking for another reservation date.

 

EARLY DEPARTURE

In case of early departure/shortening of stay, Hotel Formosa Daet reserves the right to charge a penalty up to the total stay/the remaining nights. Once booking is confirmed, the guest is responsible for the entire reservation and will be charged as such.

 

CHECK-IN POLICY

 

Check-in Time: 2:00PM    Check Out Time: 12:00PM

 

Early check-in or late check out is subject to room availability on the relevant day and must be confirmed with the hotel management. Early check-in and late check out can be arranged upon request at an additional charge.

 

For all reservations, the Hotel requires a Php500.00 deposit for incidental charges upon check-in.


Full payment shall be settled upon check-in.  All payments made are non-refundable. 

 

DAMAGED/MISSING HOTEL PROPERTY

The Hotel reserves the right to charge guests the cost of rectifying damage or soiling, caused by accidental, deliberate, negligent or reckless act of the guest to the Hotel's property or structure. The hotel also reserves the right to charge guests for missing items in the room. Please do not take with you the Hotel’s properties like towels, blow dryers, bed sheets, pillows, and the likes.

 

PET POLICY

No pets are allowed in the hotel premises.

 

SPECIAL REQUESTS

Please be reminded that all special requests are subject to availability. Please note that we do not heat outside food nor provide irons/ironing service. Requests which require hotel staff to exit the premises e.g. purchasing necessities at convenience stores are strictly prohibited.

 

VISITORS POLICY

For security purposes, visitors are only allowed until 9:00pm. Visitors who will stay beyond 9:00pm will be considered as guests and will be charged as such/escorted out of the hotel premises depending on the room type.

BREAKFAST POLICY

Rooms come with complimentary set breakfast prepared by our chef. STRICTLY NO TAKE-OUTs allowed. Breakfast starts at 7:00AM and ends at 9:00AM, which means that guests who wish to have their breakfast before or beyond the allotted breakfast time will not be accommodated. No stub, no breakfast.

SAFETY MEASURES

 In our commitment to ensure the safety and protection of our valued guests and staff, we have implemented the following measures:

 

  1. Guests and staff are required to wear masks upon entry to the hotel. No masks, no entry.

  2. Body temperature of all guests and staff are checked using a thermal scanner upon entry into the hotel. Those with body temperatures above 37.3°C won’t be allowed in the hotel premises. Those with fever and flu–like symptoms will not be allowed to enter the establishment and will be referred to the nearest hospital or to the Barangay Health Emergency Response Team (BHERT) in accordance with the DOH prescribed protocol.

  3. Frequent cleaning and sanitation of surfaces, public areas, and guest rooms. We use disinfectants that are safe, non-toxic, non-staining, and contain active ingredients approved by the World Health Organization and US-Environmental Protection Agency.

  4. Our staff are equipped with face shields and face masks, which are worn at all times.

  5. Social distancing is always practiced, as well as minimizing direct contact with guests and maintaining a skeletal workforce. Social distancing floor markers for queing are placed at the lobby.

  6. Alcohol stations are placed in various areas of the hotel for guest use. A foot press alcohol dispenser has also been placed at the lobby to prevent contamination.

  7. A disinfecting mat is positioned at the hotel entrance. A protective barrier has also been installed at the front desk for added protection.

  8. Guests are required to fill out a DOT-Prescribed Health Declaration Form upon check-in. For added safety, we require guests coming from areas outside Camarines Norte to present their Travel Pass, medical certificate, and other documents justifying their reason for travel to the front desk.

  9. Guests will be served plated breakfasts at our breakfast nook.

  10. For safety purposes, visitors (outsiders) are not allowed until further notice.

GENERAL PROVISIONS

By proceeding with the reservation, you further agree and acknowledge that if the Hotel accepts the reservation, your stay subsequently shall be subject to the Hotel's standard terms and conditions of stay.

 

The Hotel shall be entitled to vary, amend and/or otherwise change these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
